Got a family shack almost exactly same, can't leave anything out, the meeces ravage the place, like a horde of locust. 1st thing arriving is open every door and window, then sweep and disinfect all surfaces. They will eat an entire wool blanket in a month. But its a sweet place mules iff the asphalt, right on a brook trout creek.

  5. When I was young, farmers in Southern Alberta, Canada, would have shacks like that for itinerant farm workers at harvest time. Maybe a little nicer, but not much.

    Here's the weird thing. Back then Canada was 25% richer than you damn yanks and many of the itinerant workers were American.

    Then we caught the socialism disease.
