  2. Halberds, strange weapon, how they where used against pikes, must have caused a terrible attrition rate, takes a lot of guts to try and get past the first couple ranks of pike points to begin being effective, but then again not much else was against the pike.

    1. I believe they were intended for use against cavalry. Use the hook side to pull the knight off the horse and the axe side to crack the armor open once he’s on the ground.
