  1. Was hoping for a more substantial base. Not terrible, tracing weight is adjustable. Pairs easily with a Bose soundbar.

  2. The analog parts of this turntable are likely pretty good, although I prefer Technics. The problem is the wireless protocol. At least the early Bluetooth audio protocols were not compatible with high fidelity audio. Bandwidth through a Bluetooth protocol is generally throttled to meet the capabilities of their frequency hopping signal and sharing that bandwidth for stereo signals. Getting older, my early days of high-level monitoring and playing in too many loud bands mean I care less about absolute fidelity anyway, but I’m not sure that this unit approaches audiophile quality given the Bluetooth connection. YMMV.

    1. After a bit of research, the turntable does use the apt-X adaptive codec which is reasonably high fidelity. All codecs involve some compromises, but at least they have chosen a codec with a reasonable and defensible quality metric.

  3. What I ask is "What's wrong with a RCA cable"?

No compression, just a bit unsightly.
