Yeah, Too Far Gone

  1. Are those front disk brakes? that's a start. All the compound curves in the top look solid. The springs for the seat bottom are a plus, the running board. Heck were almost done, definitely save!

  2. No, it's just missing the drum - that's a brake shoe and wheel cylinder, not a caliper. Been stripped pretty clean, but the sheet metal could still be used for repairs to others.

  4. Aggie is correct, you're looking at the brake backing plate, one brake shoe missing. A little work with a body hammer and a dolly and that body would be cherry!

  6. Good donor roof for a top chop! Bottom
    corners look solid too.

  7. Been There Done That: Utah Hwy 95, less than ten miles north west of Fry Canyon, dirt road turnoff heading north toward Jacob's Chair. The road ended about a qtr mile past these two relics due to a washout/landslide. If you turn back toward hwy 95, then turn left on a little two track, unmarked road just before you drop off into White Canyon, you can pickup the road to Jacob's Chair. A serious 4WD, high clearance vehicle Great Adventure. Food for thought though, if you drive a jeep, you might want to follow a Toyota just to be safe...
