And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
6500 = VERY bright BLUE. This ain't daylight, folks. This is welding-arc lighting. If you're looking for stark, industrial, almost eyewatering light, this is it. My shop uses 5000K lighting, and that's almost too much.
18000 lumens? That enough for a warehouse and way too much for a "shop." I like the idea of the adjustable panels, but a warmer color and 1/10 the lumens might be better.
I am mostly happy with my garage lighting, but should I ever get around to an upgrade, I have considered something like this. But yeah, unless your garage has 15' ceilings, 6500k is waaaaay too much.
180 Watts! I use some 100 Watt units in my sugar shack. The multi-panel lights are much better at getting light onto the higher racks than a standard (4') florescent style. Overlapping lighting zones helps eliminate shadows too.

ReplyDeleteBright enough to sear eye cells for up to an hour. I am all about enough light to do the job but this is getting ridiculous.

ReplyDelete"Deformable"??
ReplyDeleteThe are not "deformable".
Sounds like someone over yonder writing copy needs a much better Chinese-English dictionary, ideally one that contains the word "adjustable".
