And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
You had better stack them with the light one on top - at least if they have ever been actually used, because the oil on the hatband will permanently stain the hat on which it is sitting.
Same size? Smashing the bottom brim though.
ReplyDeleteWalt Longmire says that laying a hat brim down lets the luck run out. There are some other reasons, too.
ReplyDeleteStacked lightest to darkest. I keep mine on a hair dresser practice head. It sometimes freaks people out but I am OK with that.
