    Must have been an interesting place to live and work in over the decades.

  5. That be one damp abode, chill you to the bone on a winters night, can't imagine humping the amount of fire wood charcoal or peat you need to stay warm in that tower.

  7. Also described as "Crowns Engine Houses, Botallack Mine". I'm guessing "engine" refers to an engine for dewatering the mine. Which was the original application of steam engines at the dawn of the industrial age.
