And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Be careful. I've got a Wen -different model, same base machine - and it CANNOT be balanced. I'm a tool maker with 50+ years in the trade - I know how. I've concluded it's something in the spindle, but new bearings, spacers, balanced wheels from other machines, you-name-it, it still vibrates like a Magic Wand. If you buy one, immediately check it for smooth running and ship it back if it vibrates. Incidentally- this is a bit unusual. Wen is an old, established brand and generally makes pretty decent mid range hobby shop tools.
Meh. 1/2 horse, fine for a hobby shop. Not overpriced. The usual crappy tool rests. If you don't have a bench grinder, and can't find a used one for $50, this'll do.
I have a similar bench grinder that I use to remove excess glaze from the bottom of my recently fired pots.
ReplyDeleteThis is the one you REALLY want.

At first glance I thought the brand was “Binford” and wondered if Tim Allen was involved.
