  1. I'd be carrying that rifle with the scope up against my back so if I fell it wouldn't take the hit. ---ken

    1. I agree with above comment - that scope is begging for an impact that will ruin a hunt. At the very least needs a padded cover over both ends of scope.

That is a LOT of hard work climbing. Where the air is naturally thing and terrain is steep. In USA, I'm guessing mountain goat or Dall sheep is the quarry.

  2. I see pics like these, guys way out in these remote spots, and i remember all the times dragging deer out of the bush, why oh why did i go so far in? Few times ended up down to wearing my tee shirt in my back pocket too keep cool in November or December. No regrets. Just laughing at myself.

  5. Looks like a Steyr Scout rifle - back when I wanted one of these so much...

    1. Looks like a Christensen Arms of some flavor, or something similar. Carbon fiber-wrapped barrel is the big tell, plus the stock design. Crucially, the stock on this one lacks the integrated bipod and long forearm of the Steyr, and wrong barrel (thin profile steel with fluting). Lightweight like the Steyr Scout, though.
