Shasta This Evening

  1. “Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past” - a prediction made by Dr. David Viner, a senior research scientist at the Climatic Research Unit of the University of East Anglia as reported by "The Independent" on March 20, 2000.
Dr. Viner said that within a few years, winter snowfall would become a very rare and exciting event, to the point where children might not know what snow is.
    Uh-huh.

  2. The Independent has since made that article disappear. I wonder why that would be.

Perhaps it's because like everything else Dr. Viner and his partner in crime Dr. Michael Mann come up with, is a fabrication or an outright lie that furthers their no-growth, pro-Anthropogenic Global Warming agenda.

  4. Saw a marvelous meme that would illustrate this... but no way to post a graphic into the comments... alas. It's a photo of the sun, big as can be, with an arrow pointing and saying "This is what controls the climate." Across the face of the sun are the several planets in comparison, which are quite small... referring to Jupiter, Saturn, maybe Neptune? Earth is a pencil point in size and there's an arrow pointing at Earth saying, "You are here." The picture would explain it so much better.
