And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Looks like a hatch and the top of a minimal ladder, above the pod. Of course, they might be very near the ground and have used a fire station ladder truck. I'm more interested in what became of the hatch on the front of the pod. There wouldn't be a whole lot of room inside to have brought it in by the engine (but it could have been in several pieces).
Dirigible engine room? How did you get in and out of that small pod during operations?

ReplyDeleteMost didn't have the luxury of being enclosed like that, many were simply exposed to the elements. In & out via door/hatch to Zeppelin body.
