And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It faces north(west) out to sea, more or less towards Iceland 400 miles away, on the north end of a long narrow island that has other islands immediately to its west, east, and south. So it doesn’t need to be seen from the other direction. That peak in the picture is behind it to the south.
That would be the perfect place for you to work on your memoirs!
