The Island of Hawaii is on high alert as earthquake swarms continue around the world's largest active volcano, Mauna Loa.

USGS has placed Mauna Loa under "yellow advisory," ― signifying residents need to be prepared.

"We would hope if Mauna Loa rocks that we would have ... days so that folks can be evacuated and notified," Dr. Andria Ellis, a geophysicist at the Hawaiian Volcano Observatory, told Hawaii News Now.

As long as Obamas estate is ok. Wouldn’t want taxpayers money wasted.

    1. He lives on the site of the estate from Magnum P.I. (yes, really; they bulldozed it to build his house - bastards!) on Oahu.

A tsunami that erased it would be nice, but kind of overkill, and he's probably not there anyways.

  2. Why are people still living on the Southeast side of that volcano. You know, the same ones that rebuild and then complain, after getting months and months of warnings, that the government hasn't done enough to save them.

    Pffft.
That's a fat chick falling on a hard floor.

If people live on the Big Island and aren't ready for a massive Krakatoa explosion, potentially any time, they're simply idiots.

  5. The volcanos here are pretty benign and seldom blow up. They may bury your shot in lava, but usually there is time to get out address of the way.
