And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Way back in the 1970s (when I owned my old Plymouth Satellite), I went to a drive-in movie with a hot date. But the 2nd movie was "Theatre of Blood" with Vincent Price and Diana Rigg. My date got cheesed at me because I actually wanted to watch the movie instead of make out. That was the last date I had with that chick. C'est la vie! But how could you not want to watch Vincent Price and (especially) Diana Rigg!?
Diana Rigg!
ReplyDeleteShe's big and fat now. Hard to recognize. It's a shame so many pretty girls start losing their figures in their late 20s and 30s.
ReplyDeleteI think she's dead and dusty now.
DeleteDame Rigg died in 2020 at 82. She's not big and fat now.
DeleteOuch! Good one, Aggie!

DeleteDoes anybody remember here TV sitcom called "Diana" back in the early 70s? Funny as hell, but only lasted one season. Too risque for the day I guess.
ReplyDeleteToo smart for NBC execs.
