  3. Wonderful fenders! Sprung/damped, to absorb any shock of impact. A bit tough on the other car, as they'd punch holes in it!

    1. What the hell are sprung and damped fenders? Have never heard of such in
      60 years of car restoring, collection, and flea marketing! If we could find a
      set of those, we could put them with that 4-wheel drive Corvette that GM made,or
      with that 348?,409 fuel injection Springsteen sings about. Youse guys in
      New York and Jersey got so many more cars than we in the south never
      even got to see!

  4. My neighbor (an old rural Oregon logger) told me about owning a Lasalle back in the '40's. He said it was a hot rod but he sold it when he couldn't afford to keep it running.

    He also had a Jag E-type and a Mercedes 450SL. Not your typical logger.
