  1. City slickers gun. I like working man guns.

  2. And yet, still made from pot metal.

    1. Brushed stainless steel isn't exactly pot metal.

    2. I beg your pardon. My profound apologies. I mentally conflated Freedom Arms, the inventors of the .454 Casull lion-killing world-beating line of fine pistols, with Heritage Arms, purveyors of the finest Chinesium capgun pot-metal revolvers $200 will buy. Mea Culpa.

  4. Nice BBQ gun but why do that to a 44Special instead of a 44 Magnum?

    1. .44 Special is a fine, accurate caliber, rich in history.
And then there's the possibility that the owner has a .44 Mag at home that's even more tricked out than this one. :-)

  5. 44 spl is a pussycat. I've had two of the 454's and though they are absolutely incredibly well-made revolvers, violent doesn't begin to adequately describe the recoil. The most miserable shooting experience I have known. Sold them both.

  6. Not that anything is wrong with.44 special, but like the .357 that can shoot the entire .38 family of cartridges. The .44 mag can shoot the .44 special without conversation

  7. Are you sure that’s not a 454 kazul?

    1. The caliber on the barrel is kind of a giveaway there.
