And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
There used to be a Pig 'n Whistle in West Lafayette, Ind., a favorite hangout of the Boilermaker crowd. They gave out free shelled peanuts, and the floor was covered with peanut shelss.
In the 70's I used to go to this BBQ joint in Georgia near Macon / Warner Robins. It was way out in the boonies but it was always packed. They had outdoor brick ovens and if you were downwind when you drove in you'd start drooling. Wish I could remember the name.
