  3. There used to be a Pig 'n Whistle in West Lafayette, Ind., a favorite hangout of the Boilermaker crowd. They gave out free shelled peanuts, and the floor was covered with peanut shelss.

  4. Denver indeed. Used to go there all of the time many years ago and the owner, former boxer Eddie Bohn, was great. Always fun to eat there.

  5. In the 70's I used to go to this BBQ joint in Georgia near Macon / Warner Robins. It was way out in the boonies but it was always packed. They had outdoor brick ovens and if you were downwind when you drove in you'd start drooling. Wish I could remember the name.
