And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

The clouds parted a bit and revealed a nice snow load on Shasta today.
It looked even more impressive from my back yard, sixty air miles away. The clouds enveloped it again and there might be a bit more snow before it's all over for this system.
My daughter and family were driving south on Friday, she said the mountain had no snow. When they came back north on Monday, it was covered. She said it was AMAZING the difference in such a short time!
