And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Unlike the articles, at least the $6.98 Polaris Nuclear Missile sub ad admitted it was only made of cardboard. https://www.longisland70skid.com/polaris-nuclear-submarine/
In 1962 my Dad took me to the car show in St. Petersburg Florida, held at that time in a roller skating rink because it was the biggest open building in town...I remember being very impressed by the '62 corvette with the girl in the bikini.....well, maybe it was the girl in the bikini since the '62 corvette wasn't that much different from the '61...
Amazing. I never thought I'd see those words written by another person. My first car was a maroon 2 dr 1962 Corvair Monza. Purchased for $350 when I was 16 in 1971. Sold it a year later and bought a 1966 Mustang convertible with the 225hp 289.
Very cool! Mine was gray primer, which I finally had painted a forest green with tan roof. It was also a 2 door, possibly a Monza (too many years ago). I paid $500 in 1982. The best part about that car was that I was the receptionist at a car repair shop. The guys in the shop would do all the work for me gratis, I just had to buy the parts! After I quit that job, I sold it and started to drive an orange 76 VW Beetle I bought from my parents.
