And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My father flew RF-84Fs in the ANG back in the 1960s and 70s. They had undergone a little redesign from those YF versions, especially with the canopy. Because of the limitations on introducing "new" aircraft into Korea, instead of being the F-96 (the original designation for the design) they were branded the F version of the F-84. I guess they could retain the F-84 since those two airplanes were built using parts of F-84Es.
