And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Red Drum I believe. Commonly known as Redfish. Yes, they are good to eat. The small ones are the best. The large ones are tougher and tend to get parasites.
It got really dusty in here, all of a sudden. Some of my fondest memories are fishing with my grandfather, who was a charter member of the Suburban Gun and Rod club in Davant, LA. Redfish (Channel bass) were our favorite to catch and eat. Absolutely delicious!

ReplyDeleteThe typical wild bred redfish have just one spot. Hatchery raised redfish typically have multiple spots.
