And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My wife got me one and I found it to be a pain. Not nearly big enough for any serious work. Mine got stapled to the wall for the picture. I use a large beach blanket with weight in the corners for total disassembly.
I think that is a jointed cleaning rod with a wooden handle. Bore guide and one piece rod (like the ones made by Dewey) will be much better if you're trying to maintain a good bore without scratching it with rod joints and/or steel core brushes ... and I'm trying to figure out why he has what looks like a couple of shotgun bore brushes - maybe to use on the chamber? But why not just use a chamber brush?
Do they make one of these for an AK? Asking for a friend.
ReplyDeleteYes. I have one for my AR, AK, and 1911.
DeleteAK one is still in packaging somewhere. Was a silly purchase, they never need to be cleaned /sarc

ReplyDeleteAre those 100% wooden bore guides? If so, I like the concept!
