And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I am saddened by all the negative comments on so many of these beautiful women... but I guess when you live in a society that looks for sainthood in all past public actions (over your whole life) having a beautiful woman who is not up to your standards is reason enough to publicly criticize her.
I miss the old days when it would take a lot to "toss her out of bed for eating crackers", being less than perfect was never a thought because who really is perfect?
