Nice

  1. If there are people that used to complain how often you had to fix some of the old Harleys out there then obviously they never owned one of these babies! It is a nice bike though, as were some of the old Nortons and Beezers

  3. Back in the early 80's I had a 1970 Triumph Trident that I wanted to convert to something like this. I barely had enough money to put gas in it. It was a garage queen that was rarely ridden before I got it. The Trident was a bone shaker that I got rid of after 2 years.

    1. Trident? Bone shaker? If that was the one with the dark green with gold trim paint job and the teardrop tank, that was the one I had. But with the 120 degree crank and 750cc's, that was much smoother than the 650 vertical twin with the 360 deg. crank. Smoothest Brit bike tourer I ever rode.

  5. Rode a rort snortin Norton (850 Roadster) to work at Bethlehem Steel till it snowed. Also rode a "66 Bonnie bar hoppin. The kickstart on both bikes saved my life when to inebriated to ride. They did require a bit of maintenance but gave me many fond memories in my "youth". Now as an elderly gentleman with less piss and vinegar I bar hop on a 2019 Triumph Bobber Black (apes and forward controls). Nicest bike I ever owned. Two gallon tank is why I call her a bar hopper.
