  3. This should penetrate body armor. The crossbow of 600 years ago could penetrate the armor of that time. So could the longbow. What was once old is new. Truly, "there is nothing new under the sun."

    Still, I would not venture forth with this unless I had a pistol at my side.

  4. For as far as it shoots, I removed the scope on mine to reduce "fluff."

  5. I have one, and it is. All modern crossbows have scopes as it seems there is no way to affix hard sights to it. I'd like to have Magpul flip-ups on mine. One of these days I'll figure out how to do it.

      That's a Picatinny rail.
      You can attach any-damned-thing you want to one of those.

      BONUS POINTS: No ammo shortage.
      No tax stamp required for the suppressor you don't need.
