And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Any alcoholic beverage will be 'medicinal', as proven throughout history :-). However, ciders can make vinegars and those have lots of uses, 'medicinal' as well. However the equipment isn't cheap if it's off the shelf for large quantities. It is 'easily' DIY'able for smaller quantities if you have the skills needed.

I was surprised to read that apple cider is an alcohol drink everywhere in the world except here... that's a leftover from the prohibition experiment.
