    1. Chuck C, are you suffering from normalcy bias? Do you think you still live in a free republic? If so, you may want someone to help you through the transition. Good luck.

    4. Not panic stricken, it is intended to be panic inducing.

The threat on 6 Jan was well known: Antifa / other instigators embedding in the crowd to instigate a violent action that would get out of control and blow back on anyone with a MAGA hat. The capitol was not secured against this probable scenario, that's how it played out, and now they are using these optics to further the lie that somehow people with 'back the blue' t-shirts thought it was a good idea to attack the blue instead.

  4. Are you sure this isn't a photo of the "Presidential Palace" in some Central or South American country? Certainly looks like it to me.

    1. Sadly it IS the Capital.

"The numbers of Guard troops deploying to the nation's capital swelled to 10,000 earlier this week and then to 20,000 by Wednesday – eclipsing the number of U.S. forces currently deployed to both Iraq and Afghanistan by a factor of four.
Other officials overseeing the response since Jan. 6 acknowledge the sudden surge of forces was hastily planned and, despite the D.C. Guard's ongoing efforts to find more comfortable accommodations, the scenes accurately show the realities of a sudden military mobilization."

    1. Sure - don't forget to vote.

Actually, it doesn't matter if you do send in a ballot. You vote has been counted, as it ought to be. Not as it was, or how you thought, but how it should be according to every right thinking Election official.

  8. The airports show how important security theater is to politicians. This is just more of the same. I'm looking forward to when they all award themselves Congressional Gold Medals.

  9. Enact term limits, repeal 17th Amendment among other things. Read Levin's The Liberty Amendments.

  10. So desperate to mobilize protection from The Menace that the troops are sleeping on the marble floors - forgot to organize 20,000 cots.

Let's see... Riot fencing, loads of troops, spectators on lockdown. A fitting, symbolic start.

  13. They will have nothing to do as this threat of armed protests is a farce and the inauguration is virtual reality.
