“Denver and Boulder have declared war not only on Weld County, but common sense itself with regulations designed to kill energy jobs,” according to one November post on the secession group's Facebook page. “Putting radical animal rights activists in positions of power over the ranching industry, two of Weld’s key economic drivers. They are also at war with small businesses. People who hold traditional values are vilified as racist homophobic (misogynist) bigots.”
All true. However, this could also be the small beginnings for a larger movement, one to split the country itself into two or more nations, depending on ideology. If that movement takes off, things could get spicy indeed.
Get spicy? Simply put, it will be those who generate the food and still have guns versus those who don't want to work, don't want to generate their own food and still want everyone else to coddle them.
ReplyDeleteIt ain't the imaginary lines on a globe, but rather some of the nitwits that live there. Vanish the nitwits and just about everywhere is tolerable for living. Thinking that moving lines on the globe is short sighted because nitwits move, and they move even faster if they know they might become extinct. Idaho today could be NYFC tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteIdaho is becoming NYFC already. What with all teh califrutopians and warshingtons moving here. In fact in early spring I am moving back to Alabama... maybe look at Northern Central Arkansas iffn' Sarah Huckabee becomes Governator.
DeleteCederq on occasion I fish the Buffalo River near Yellville/Harrison. Really beautiful in that area. Plus their is Bull Shoals lake and the White River full of trout and Gastons Resort.
DeleteWon't hurt my feelings if we secede. 'The Republic of Texas' sounds grand to me.
ReplyDeleteI'll support it, but I don't think it'll be peaceful:-(.
DeleteColorado doesn't want to keep Weld County unless it's just to torment them. "Let My People Go!" - Charleton Heston as Moses.
ReplyDeleteYea but now we’re getting soylent green
DeleteNice idea, but the invested in the Deep State politicians in both parties will never let it happen.
ReplyDeleteI live in pueblo colo. The only political tactic I have seen the dems fear is recall elections. 2013 they recalled 2 legislators and a 3rd voluntarily resigned for fear of losing dem majority in the state senate. Republicans control the majority of land area for voting. None of the local police or sheriff's listen to dems. None of that matters given the population of denver area, when the voting majority rules.
ReplyDeleteThe dems hate people. The hate any kind of solution that helps people. People now can see what biden will do to anyone that opposes them. Colorado is swirling down the drain and it's by design. We have to oppose them and vote against them otherwise it will be over very quickly, as quickly as we give up. One guy in pueblo Victor Head worked so hard and believed we could recall state senator Giron. If it wasn't for him pounding the pavement and getting word out it would have failed. We are not allowed to see just how fragile the liberals hold is on the current situation because of fake news. It could very quickly slip out of their hands if the right person is in the right place at the right time steps up. Be that person. Never give up.
"vote against them"
Delete===================
Voting put the communists in place.
More voting will keep them there.
Using a wrench to pound a nail won't work.
You need to wrap your hand around a hammer and get to work.
Yes, life can be ugly, when you are forced to deal with tyrants that want you dead.
We don't want Weld Co in Wyoming.
ReplyDeleteStay in Colorado and clean up your own house. The last thing we want is an additional 350K people.
D'ruther have Weld County people than Teton County. Moffat County'd be a good addition too.
DeleteHowever ... you don't "ask" to secede...you just do it.
Ghost is right though, time for that kinda "voting" is past
Boat Guy
Don't blame you and I'm a Weld County resident. Maybe draw the line at Hwy 66, South of that stay in Colorado.
DeleteTeton County has just over 21K people. We can handle that libtard factor at the state level.
DeleteAdding another county with 350K people would effectively give Weld County the control of the Wyoming state legislature, as they would suddenly represent 40% of the new population.
No thanks.
