Reminds me of the time we watched a bear trying to chase down a deer on a hillside in Yellowstone NP. You could almost see the bear, that time, give up and act like it was up there just for the berries.
A real-life risk-reward decision. Ski faster to lose the bear and risk falling, or ski slower to tire the bear out and risk falling - slightly less? There is no make-up test.
I can't tell, is the bear wearing skis?
