  3. Another Rasputin victim. Pretty young lady. If she were around today she'd be a member of the Glitterati culture

    1. She was definitely NOT a victim of Rasputin.
She and her whole family were brutally butchered by the henchmen of the Bolshevik revolutionaries; and all of Russia suffered immensely for more than 70 years after that senseless, cruel slaughter.

  5. There was more than one Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaevna of Imperial Russia!

This one was the daughter of Tsar Nicholas II.

The other one (18 August 1819 – 21 February 1876) was the daughter of Emperor Nicholas I.

  6. A stunning woman. A tragic loss. It's too bad the Tsar didn't see the writing on the wall. He wasn't too bright a ruler, but the massacre of the royal family does not justify the means, unless you are a communist.
