The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? It is, but I'll tell you a shortcut - my windows along the back are almost floor to ceiling. And using a microfiber towel with the washwater, just a smidgen of dish soap (couple of drops) in a bucket of warm water, and an 18" squeegee with a long handle and you're done in no time at all. It's fast: Use the squeegee with the sopping towel wrapped on it to wet the window, remove towel, squeegee, done!
A lotta structural steel inside that thing to hold it in place. Looks to be about 16'x16' and I bet it cost every bit of $500k. Most likely an accessory structure (trophy wife's "get away") on an expensive estate property owned by very wealthy people.
