And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Too long for 5.56 and too narrow for .308 based on hand size ratio in the picture. Cajun noticed no rifling on the bullet, so very good point. FMJ and red cannelure, so maybe still military. 6mm or 6.5mm variant? Looks like a very flat angle for the bullet if the phone was sitting flat, which might indicate still high velocity, which a simple phone would not stop. W
It would be interesting to know the story. Not necessarily staged, if it was a nearly-spent round - and history has plenty of examples of pocket watches, bibles, spectacle cases, etc. stopping bullets.
Detroit? Chicago? Mogadishu? Caracas? Washington D.C.? Photoshop? Miracle?
ReplyDeleteWasn’t much of a screen protector was it?

ReplyDeleteThat bullet did not get to it's destination by being shot from a gun. It's clearly a staged photo.
