    1. Nope. The depression brought on short skirts to save on material. My Mom and Dad were married in 1941 and Mumma's crushed velvet wedding dress was just about mid-knee length... they were married in the Catholic Church, a church not known for its permissiveness in women's dress.

    1. In Phoenix, it is currently 55 degrees.

      In Modesto, CA it is currently 50 degrees,

      In Death Valley, CA, it is currently 57 degrees.

      Give it a month, and it will be Spring-like.
