And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The R3 was a supertuned and turbocharged version. It even beat the Ferrari and was at that time the fastest production car in the world. It is on my lottery wish bucket list!
We have at least one running around Great Falls, MT. Funny thing is I would not have known what is was if I had not seen one on American Pickers. Very cool car.
Somebodies eyeballs are installed backwards. As I've said before, the Avanti is the best looking car ever created in this country. Almost 60 years old and still looks futuristic.
My old man put money down on one in '63. On the way home, we saw a Corvette wrecked and he turned around and got his money back, cause of the fiberglas.
The trophy wife of doctor in the small town I grew up in drove an early 70's version of the Avanti for about 10 years. They are beautiful cars.

It was a great car. I believe in later years as Studebaker was facing financial issues, they actually came equipped with Corvette drive trains
