    Molikini, Hawaii, off the coast of Maui and it is a bird sanctuary. You cannot land there without authorization but you can dive in the extinct volcano crater.

    1. It is small compared to other Hawaiian islands but you wouldn't want to hit it with an aircraft carrier at speed. Many smaller dive boats where anchored in and around it when we were there.

  4. A trip around the back wall underwater was one of the coolest dives that I've done in Hawaii. Just a wee bit of current.

  5. The backside is seriously creepy when you dive it. Which I've done. Straight down to blackness, gave me wicked goosebumps.
