    1. Are we sure its an Apache? Several reasons:
      1. The age of the photo, looks like late 70's or early 80's. The army didn't adopt the Apache until I think 86.
      2. I have never seen the US military use this camo pattern on an Apache, a partner country maybe?
      3. Distinct bump above the intakes making the rotor sit higher than on an Apache.
      Hard to tell in this photo (because it is well camouflaged) but this looks like Afghanistan so I was thinking Russian during their Afghan War.
