And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

In the beginning, the people came down from the mountains...
Imagine of small group of hunter/gatherers, trekking across this landscape, led by someone who sorta looks like LL, seeking new lands to colonize.
LL is a frequent commenter here, real life operator, and the owner and proprietor of the Virtual Mirage - see the blog list to the right. He's the only guy I know who's left a blood trail in the Wakhan Corridor.
