And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Not mad at all! At least the security guards - deterrence would certainly prevent many of these incidents. But I've known more than a few teachers who I'd trust to pack heat. One thing we do know, gun free zones don't work at all, and may invite violence by advertising helplessness.
You can't honestly believe that the best way forward is to arm teachers, surely? You're all mad.

Gun free zones are an invitation for the wicked to do violence on the helpless. After all, gun laws only apply to the law abiding, not to criminals.
