And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Today's youth might get to know this feeling, but they would have to do their 'feeling' in the driveway, since very few know how to drive a standard shift - much less figure out choke knob and a starter button next to the gas pedal.

DeleteIn the 70's I was driving a '52 Chevy 3100. We used to ride 4 across on that bench seat.
DeleteOh to have a truck like that! Simple, just a heater/defroster and I would be good to go.
