And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
If that beer collection behind her is typical of what she likes to drink - odds are that we’d get along ‘just fine’, in spite of the stuff in the stein that looks to be little more than colored water... ;-)
I knew a woman with eyes that color. A beautiful woman, but she had been married to an abuser for nine years. So, while she was beautiful, she was not entirely healthy, emotionally. I last saw her in 1995, and I still dream about her, every now and then.
