And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Based on the Fairwater Planes (lower left), no Vertical Launch System (VLS) Missile Tubes on the bow and the placement of the forward Sonar transducer, I'm thinking that this is the USS Olympia (SSN-717) heading to Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. She left Pearl Harbor last month.
It's better than being down in the boat -- unless somebody is shooting at you.

ReplyDeleteYep, still get the amine smell. When I receive paperwork from the boat that has been underway, the paper smells like amine.
