And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Cold night in Norway. Do I see the Pleiades on the right?
My daughter, raised on Vancouver Island, left her work in California to live in northern Norway at a soul satisfying job. She phones me every day on her walk home from the university. This is what she sees every day.
I think that tent is a Wind 2. I'm not sure of the manufacturer's name, but I have used them in those sorts of conditions.

DeleteThe Pleiades are very important to navigation. If you can see the Pleiades, you will always know which direction up is.
