And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My Grandad had a big anvil like that. When I was a kid, his business had modernized to a Welding and Radiator repair business, but at the back of the shop he still had a forge and an anvil - from the old blacksmith shop started on that very ground by his grandfather. Grandad taught me how to weld, but I didn't stick around long enough (off running around for Uncle Sam) to really learn the arcane art of the blacksmith.
That would go GREAT in my shop.
