  2. that was the best looking car to come out of Chrysler Corp last century. A great engine, and transmission but the car needed suspension and braking help so bad, I couldn't bring myself to buy one. I ended up with a '70 Plymouth GTX sans A/C which ran well with the 440 six pack even though it was a bit nose heavy. Those california exhibition of speed tickets were a buzz killer.

  3. That pic is so reminiscent of my BROTHER’s youth. He had a green and black 6pack Challenger, and a blue convertible Challenger. I never got to ride in the green & black one, but what I recall the most about the blue convertible is how much chassis flex there was. It was kinda scary. ;-)

  4. Friend in Ft. Walton Beach had one in 1970....Panther Pink with a shadow kit in the rear window, same black out hood, side stripes....340 six pack, slap stick shifter (automatic)....I remember driving to Pensacola to cop some reefer....don't remember the ride back, though....
