And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Certainly it is nice to see obvious learned high skill in action...however, the illusion that is Hollywood must be taken into account. Actors - as associated with their on-the-job training to "play a role" - clearly have more opportunity to develop skills we mere mortals with regular careers do not. As with anything else the work must be done to achieve a good result (or in their case, on screen authenticity). Yet, nearly anyone [willing to do the work] would be in incredible shape with great hair, or be able to shoot and move like this if - as part of their job - they had 4-6 hours everyday with a personal trainer or private range time.
Regardless...it ain't braggin' if they can do it (as some are very skill oriented and athletic). Despite my comments...hats off to her for clear excellence.
She is just another HollyWeed hypocrite getting paid way too much for playing make believe with guns. She's a committed lefty who would disarm ALL OF US in a heartbeat if she could.
Very true...that's the hypocrisy. Actors somehow manage to justify that it's okay to play with guns while portraying massive violence on screen, but weirdly they never make the connection of their politics with their work. Maybe because they know it's not real (although her range work in the video is, which makes their lefty-ness even more bizarre.)
media treats actors as subject matter experts after they role play at being something they truly are not. Like Henry Fonda being asked when he was going to run for president again because in film he came off as a "good president". or that idiot martin sheen.
I need Hollywood to script my next gunfight. The music, the lighting, the blood - but not too much, and the girl :-)
ReplyDeleteWOW, I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteA Hollywood personality going rouge.
She was good in John Wick 3: Parabellum. Keanu Reeves is a competent 3 gun shooter, as well.
DeleteI'm in love.
