And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

It's a Winter wonderland up in the mountains right now.
We were driving home from SJ on Thursday and we ran into white-out going over 80 through Tahoe. In mid-May. There was so much snow that morning that CalTrans closed the rest area at Donner because they used the parking lot as a dumping ground for the snow they cleared off the freeway. This global warming is the damnedest thing I've ever seen.
Remember, it is climate change now, not global warming. I have been around and seen the climate change. It is called weather. What a bunch of nitwits we have in or running for office.
