And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My g.f. got me a 10 cup porcelain blue spotted boiling coffee pot like this one because I mentioned Kent's vid. I make cowboy coffee all the time. Love it! Thing is, you have to watch it closely in my small pot as when it gets to a boil it will foam up and overflow. I have it pretty well timed for my stove and specific settings now, though, so I can set a timer, 3 - 5 minutes at a time, and keep things under control. And remember, you can't get full on fancy!
I used to make Cowboy Coffee all the time, once. Foaming up to overflow...yeah, a real problem. I used to quickly pick the boiling pot up off of the fire and stir it as I slowly lowered it back down closer to the flame until it quit doing that - which it will. A little cold water added to the final brew settled the grounds, just as this cowboy says it will.
I don't get it. If the acid is in the beans, and the pot is brought to a rolling boil to get the acid out of the beans, where is the acid now located? We are drinking the water that was infused with what is in the beans, right?
