And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? According to movie notes the horses used in that movie were American Paints, which doesn't mean anything, as horses can be registered as multiple 'breeds' (paint is more the color and almost any breed can be 'paint'.
The long body looks Tn Walker although it could also be a quarter horse/thorobred cross (aka appendix) which would account for his speed.
Interesting reading about that movie, as there was a lot of controversy about the American Indian storyline and is it a true story, blah blah. no one can watch a movie anymore without just watching it. We have analyze everything.
