Looks like the eruption on Hawaii is petering out. Pele's anger begins to slumber again.

The Isaac Hale Beach Park and Pohoiki Boat Ramp have survived, for now, and just barely.  You can see the laze plume lower left from the remaining lava flow into the Pacific.

    1. Followed by Moosechelle...OOPs, cancel that. It just might reignite the earth's regurgitation reflex.

  2. But the laze has certainly done a number on the vegetation. All used to be bright green and verdant. Looks all brownish and shrively now.

  3. Sorry, feeding BHO or MO, would really anger Pele. Pele likes pork, politicians not so much.

    1. But you'd have to applaud the effort, even if Pele spit them back out.
