  1. Not much new here, Kaman has been doing this since the late 60's. Check out the Kaman HH-43 Husky.

  2. I knew a man. He made a point of going out of his way to tell me how much he admired my cargo chute He was Commander, Joint Task Force Middle East on a boat heading back to his flagship when he came alongside us at anchorage Sitrah, A few years later he came back when I was staff to try to sell the kaman. He was most welcome, all admired him from his role 5 years earlier but I'm not sure what Fargo could do to buy any sort of helicopter. The helo he was selling then had benches along each side for pax. It was little birds on steroids for those of us who remembered the little birds.

  3. USMC has these in the 'stan, and they are Autopiloted so the Helo can have a Route Programmed in, Cargo Net hooked up, Pilot jumps out and hits a Button. Bird flies to 'target', Drops Cargo and Returns. Resupply under Fire with No Risk to a Pilot.
